"Ti lascio una storia" Exhibition

Ti lascio una storia  (I leave you a story) is a photo exhibition I created with a close friend of mine that had a collection of photos we took along the year with the others, during the time we lived here and the moments we shared. The uniqueness is within the words that follow each photo. The meaning behind all of it. The journey of it all.

I still feel like I was in a dream. the process of setting up everything. the opening, and the appreciation that followed. The mystical look of people, their slow stroll along the hall. the uncalculated thoughts that you can read on their faces. Their eyes mirroring the heart. 

It was magic in a moment, the simplest yet the most complicated of all. an enchantment of memories that I will bottle up and keep in my heart. 

Ti lascio una storia was some kind of dream I didn’t know I had until I did it.

Time lived and time lost

A conversation to have

With others

With ourselves

That is always the aim isn’t it?

To have a conversation with ourselves

To understand everything

The thoughts crossing our minds

Creating a life there

The feelings making a mess in our hearts

Making a home there

A beautiful one

With all its chaos

With all its complexity

All its profundity

 

All the shallow and all the deep

A sky of sentences

A sea of words

A hurricane of letters

A fire of within

A virtual version was created in order to hold it for far longer than the physical space. the space is closed but the exhibition remain. The content will always be there.
