I am ready for another series by the amazing Cassandra Clare and her world! I have read most of her other book series including The Mortal Instruments and The Dark Artifices and about to dive in the Infernal Devices trilogy. But before starting that, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on her newest release Chain of Gold, that is part of The Last Hours Trilogy.

I seriously couldn’t do anything else for a whole two days other than read this book! I practically just ate, had coffee and read this beautiful book… and by beautiful, I mean inside and out! Come on, look at that cover! It’s a masterpiece...

Now onto the beautiful inside of this book. If you never get enough of the Shadowhunter’s world, then you definitely need to start this. Cassandra Clare never ceases to amaze its readers with her writing and her world building. Her characters that speak to you, and in return you are willing to die for them (okay that is a bit too much but you get what I mean haha). You just root for them on their quests to destroy demons and evil lords! (I really love fantasy if you still haven't noticed haha)

Chain of Gold, along with all of Clare’s books, has all that you demand of books. From action, friendships, to forbidden love (or love triangles that I have a hate-love feeling towards), and just all the aspects in between.

It is by no surprise, that this book made it up onto my favourite fantasy books of the year.
